Gretchen is a Realtor® for RE/MAX Town and Country in Gig Harbor, Washington. She entered the field of real estate to offer homebuyers and sellers a quality and informed experience in the biggest investment of their lives, their homes. She looks out for her clients’ best interests by listening to their wants and needs; negotiating on their behalf; maintaining effective communication between all parties involved in the transaction; educating them in the transaction process and by providing additional follow up client care services. She draws from her professional and personal experiences and believes that the key to business success is all about people and follow-through.
Gretchen’s qualifications include: Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE) and the Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI) designations.
Gretchen has an extensive background with military life. She was born into it, later worked for the Federal Government Civil Service and enlisted in the Army Reserves stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington. She married an officer assigned to the 2nd/75th Ranger Battalion at Fort Lewis and continued with her Civil Service career moving across the country and later settling in Gig Harbor with her husband and two boys. She knows first hand what it takes to prepare for a move, to survive a move and establish new roots in a community. Her work history focused on customer care; people and organizational skills; attention to details and performance.
Gretchen strives to serve clients in a manner that keeps their best interests at heart. Once you have made a decision to buy/sell based on job relocation; are out-growing a home or down-sizing to a smaller place, it is important to research the area and get a feel for it. She can provide you with information on the community you are considering and it’s surrounding areas. Additionally, she has an extensive network of real estate agents in Washington and across the United States she can refer you to, freeing up your time so you can focus on moving.
